These containers can be leased for the duration of your journey or purchased as new or used cargo worthy units.

Cargo worthy containers need to have a specific plate on them that acts like a passport for the container. It will have a date on (usually our ones have a year) and proves that the container is fit to used for shipping purposes.

The plate is known as a CSC plate, (Container Safety Certificate) Containers are usually decommissioned after approximately 10 to 12 years and the ASEP (Approved Continuous Examination Programme) which is ISO approved (International Standards Organisation) is removed and then the container is no longer cargo worthy.
